Join us for our November Service Saturday as we volunteer for the UWF Historic Trust! We will be helping with the Blue Trees Installation project for Foo Foo Fest.

Blue Trees: Environmental Installation

The University of West Florida Historic Trust is excited to bring environmental installation artist, Konstantin Dimopolous, to Pensacola to install his environmental call-to-action, The Blue Trees: Environmental Installation. The trees along Zaragoza Street between Tarragona and Jefferson Streets and in Museum Plaza will be transformed into a sea of blue during this Foo Foo Fest event. Because there are no naturally occurring blue trees, this installation draws attention to global deforestation and the need to protect our natural resources.

Volunteer Project Description:

Join Konstantin Dimopoulos and the UWF Historic Trust as we install The Blue Trees in downtown Pensacola for Foo Foo Fest 2024! This call to environmental action turns our downtown urban landscape into a surreal blue forest. The chalk-based pigment that will be applied to the trees is safe for plants, bugs, birds, humans and waterways.

This is a members-only event. Advanced Registration Required - Limited Spots Available!

*Registration MUST be completed by Tuesday, September 17 to receive a T-Shirt.
