Event Details

Join us for our first Community Roundtable event hosted by WSRE PBS. Come early for pre-event networking at 5:30pm and meet and mingle with PYP members and WSRE staff. At 6pm, we will hear from the station about the mission of their organization and how they positively impact our community through education, entertainment, and engagement initiatives. Stick around after to take a behind the scenes studio tour!

About WSRE:

WSRE is Northwest Florida's Public Broadcasting Service member station licensed to the Pensacola State College District Board of Trustees and supported by the local community through the WSRE-TV Foundation. Established in 1967, WSRE serves more than 588,000 households with multiplatform distribution including five over-the-air broadcast channels. The station engages Gulf Coast communities, from the Alabama/Mississippi state line to Destin, with local productions, educational activities and special events that provide opportunities for civic engagement, enlightening conversation and exposure to the arts.

Located in the Kugelman Center for Telecommunications at Pensacola State College, production facilities include the 10,000-square-foot Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio.

We will meet in the Amos Studio, located on the Pensacola State College campus at 1000 College Blvd., Building 23, in Pensacola. Parking can be found directly in front of the studio in Lot N (near the PSC tennis courts and pool).

Community Development Roundtables:

This Community Roundtables initiative is a renewed version of our past EDGA Roundtable events. The Community Roundtable series is designed to provide our members with opportunities to engage with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, local community groups, and small businesses, learning about a variety of initiatives and programs in our area. Prospective members are also invited to attend these events to engage with PYP and the community.
