Pensacola Young Professionals released the 2022 Quality of Life Survey results at CivicCon, a partnership with the Pensacola News Journal and the Studer Community Institute, on Monday, October 17 at 6 p.m. at The REX Theatre.
Pensacola Young Professionals has brought the Quality of Life Survey to the Pensacola community through a partnership with Quint Studer and Mason Dixon Polling and Strategy since 2008. The annual Quality of Life Survey is one important measure to understand the progress of the community in the eyes of those that live here. The survey participants are chosen at random and accurately represent the demographic breakdown of the community. The survey includes questions about economic conditions, job security, availability of cultural displays and entertainment, safety, race relations, and more.
Quint Studer, founder of the Studer Community Institute, and Claire Kirchharr, Director of Community Development for Pensacola Young Professionals, presented this year’s results. “We are excited to see the data supports a message of hope about our community,” says Kirchharr. “Room for improvement is room for opportunity. Pensacola has much to celebrate and many opportunities to help propel us forward to be even better”
