PYP Opens Applications for 2026 Mentor Pensacola Program

Pensacola, FL – Pensacola Young Professionals (PYP) is excited to announce that applications for the 2026 Mentor Pensacola program are officially open. This signature mentorship initiative pairs young professionals with influential community leaders for a year of professional development, networking, and personal growth—all designed to strengthen Pensacola’s future workforce and leadership pipeline.

Launched in 2015 and revitalized in 2021, Mentor Pensacola has continued to grow each year, offering PYP members the opportunity to learn directly from leaders in business, nonprofit, government, and entrepreneurial fields. Mentors help participants define career goals, build confidence, expand their network, and gain new perspectives on leadership and community impact.

PYP members are encouraged to apply to be mentees. This is a unique opportunity for young professionals to connect with mentors who will help them refine their career paths, set long-term professional goals, and expand their networks. Mentorship can be a crucial stepping stone for personal and career development, and we believe every young professional deserves the chance to succeed.

Community leaders are invited to apply to be mentors. By sharing their expertise and experiences, mentors play a vital role in shaping the next generation of leaders. This is an opportunity for established professionals to give back to the community while cultivating a culture of mentorship in Pensacola.

Key Dates for the 2025 Mentor Pensacola Program:

• Application Period: November 10 – December 31, 2025
• Applicant Interviews: January 2 – January 10, 2026
• Match Making: January 11 – January 17, 2026
• Kick-Off Event: February 12, 2026

Selected mentors and mentees will be paired in mid-January and begin meeting monthly for the duration of 2026, with support and check-ins from PYP’s Professional Development Committee.

Guests will have the chance to meet Mentor Pensacola’s current mentors and mentees, hear firsthand experiences, and ask questions about the program.

How to Apply

Applications for both mentors and mentees will be available online through December 31, 2025 at pensacolayp.com/mentorpensacola. Space is limited and early applications are encouraged.
