ABOUT THIS EVENT

Join CivicCon and the Pensacola Young Professionals as we unveil the 2023 Escambia County Quality of Life Survey results. Discover the latest insights into our community's well-being on Tuesday, October 17 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the REX Theatre in downtown Pensacola.

Funded by Quint and Rishy Studer since 2008, The Quality of Life Survey is a vital tool for understanding public opinion and identifying community concerns. It is independently conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy, a reputable polling and communications firm based in Washington, D.C.

The survey defines Quality of Life as "an individual’s perception of their position in life within the context of culture, community, and value systems, considering their goals, expectations, standards, and concerns." It addresses various factors impacting our community's quality of life, including but not limited to:

  • Safety
  • Economic Conditions
  • Educational Opportunities
  • Race Relations
  • Government and Community Leadership

Survey participants were selected randomly from the commercially available Florida State voter registration file and fairly reflect the diverse demographics of the Escambia County voting population. This allows us to understand the perspectives of many of our fellow residents, and not just a select few.

The data gives us an opportunity to reflect on the pivotal question: Is Escambia County/Pensacola on the right track? If not, how can we get there?

This event is open to everyone and free of charge.
